How Much is Liberty Worth to you?

As I was spending time in prayer this morning a well-known quote by Patrick Henry came to me: “Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

Patrick Henry delivered this speech at the Virginia Convention on March 23, 1775 one month before the American Revolution began.

1. People were turning their eyes to the injustices.
2. People were ignoring how they were being treated.
3. People were not recognizing that it was their duty not only to themselves but to God to fight for the freedoms his Son’s blood was shed for.

History is now repeating itself in our generation. Will you stand or will you accept defeat and be taken into captivity? It is up to each of us to stand and say, “No more!”

If we don’t fight now then when? What about the future generations who depend on us? How many lockdowns, restrictions, and tyrants are you willing to accept before you stand up and say, “No more!” We can not allow dictators to dictate to us what our rights are! Our rights are given by God himself- We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

These aren’t just pretty words in The Declaration of Independence these are words of truth and these ARE the laws of the land. Government officials work for us NOT the other way around. I am sure as hell am not giving my rights up to anyone! I’m mad as hell and it’s time for all of us to be!
