Set Apart For God's Glory

Are you looking for encouragement, writing companions, or help towards accomplishing your writing goals without the presence of artificial intelligence? If so, Set Apart For God’s Glory might be for you!

Set Apart For God’s Glory is a Christian writer’s group where iron sharpens iron. My desire is for this group to be a place of community and encouragement. A place where your calling as a writer is recognized and celebrated.

I am a self-published author of eight books. As a matter of fact, I am working on a children’s book, which, Lord willing, I hope to have available in December. I have learned the steps of self-publishing, from an outline to a published book. It would be my delight to write beside you and coach you through the writing and publishing of your book. See me as your coach and your cheerleader, seeing you to the finish line.

The finish line is there even if you don’t see it yet.

Iron sharpeneth iron; So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17 (KJV)

Set Apart For God’s Glory is a no Ai fly zone!

Why I’m against artificial intelligence

Biblical Reasons

  • John 14:26
  • James 1:17
  • Jeremiah 2:13
  • Matthew 23:27
  • Matthew 7:17
  • 2 Corinthians 6:17
  • Deuteronomy 6:5

Obvious Reasons

  • Trained with stolen books. (piracy)
  • It hurts creatives and causes distrust in what is real.
  • It is giving people an unfair advantage. An avenue by which people can cheat the system.
  • Divisive not unifying us as a people.
  • Replaces individual thought with dependency on outside sources.
  • Replaces God as the helper.
  • Untrustworthy. Much like a card dispenser on a gambling table, it spits out information that it has gleaned from other sources.
  • Not truthful.
  • It’s being used with sinister intentions such as creating fake websites, news articles, and the like.
  • Soulless, no moral code.
