The Balance Between Life and Death

life and death

The above picture is my cherry blossom tree, a perfect example of the balance between life and death. I’m afraid we will have to chop it down soon. We choose either life or death with every choice.

There is a proper balance in this world, so not to respect that balance is foolish indeed. We spend our days teeter-tottering between life and death. The choices we make can either bring life or death into our lives. Poor choices have consequences. Poor choices can lead to death: death of a relationship, such as a marriage, a termination of a job, freedom, or even worse, premature death. Death requires respect! If we dance with it, or even dare it we may find ourselves in a place we have never been, a place of barrenness, or worse, dead. The right choices lead to life: healthy relationships, financial prosperity, good health, freedom, joy, and peace. We choose either life or death with every choice.

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7 KJV)

Making the Right Choices

How does one recognize what is a good choice, and what is a bad choice? I know one thing you don’t want to take advice from the snake, as in the plight of Adam and Eve. Eve listened to the snake’s deceiving voice over what God had said, and it cost her and Adam everything! They lost the closeness with God, their home in the garden of Eden, and their dignity. If we are not careful, we will lose what Adam and Eve lost and then some. It requires discernment to make the right choices, and you can only acquire that from Jesus! Without Jesus, you will constantly make bad choices. He stands ready to help! Send him an SOS today!

We Choose Either Life or Death

In A Case of Mistaken Identity, Sadie made the deliberate choice to leave the God of her youth and follow the voices of her peers. As she went further down that path, she encountered more harm than good. She ended up in places and situations that she never expected to be in. When she finally made a turn, the shadows of her past crept in once more with a well-orchestrated plan to end her desire for a new beginning. Her enemy planned to present a case so unanimously against her that her calling would be denied! Will the Judge grant her a rebuttal, or will she lose the one thing she so desires?
