Sacred Oaths
Did you know that every public official in America has to swear an oath upon taking office to defend our Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic? My God is a God of justice, for his throne is established in righteousness and justice. He will deal with every one of our enemies: foreign and domestic!
Those who didn’t stand with the Constitution of the United States came against our rights. Therefore, God stands against them! The Constitution of the United States is the law of the land and it needs to be held in the highest regard. Apart from the Bible, it is the 2nd most sacred text we have. The men who signed it risked everything when they placed their signature on that text.
In a time where oaths, commitments, and covenants are treated with disdain God however holds these things in high regard and does not take them lightly. He pays close attention to our words, especially oaths.
But let your communication be, Yea, yea: Nay, nay: for whatever is more than these cometh of evil.
Matthew 5:37 KJV
Queen Esther
Queen Esther approached the King without being summoned which meant death if he didn’t hold out the royal scepter to her. She trusted God in her pursuit of justice and exposure to Haman’s plot to annihilate her people. If I perish, I perish. I can’t imagine what went on in her mind as she walked through the court leading to King Ahasuerus’s throne. She was not one who was not accustomed to seeing hard things. She witnessed the murder of her parents, she was taken captive in the night with all the other single ladies, and she saw how quickly the King wrote off Queen Vashti because she did not comply with his command. Now here she was making a bold statement that some things are worth the risks.
We can either be known as one that took the path of least resistance or we can be known as one like Esther who counted the cost and said, “If I perish. I perish?” She was willing to lay down her life to call Haman to justice! If she hadn’t spoken up what would have happened to her people?
She was called to this task. If she had let others dictate to her how she was and what she was to do with her life all would have been lost! I would rather go through life kicking and screaming for what I believe in than silently without a fight allowing others to choose my life for me. If anything I learned from 2020 is I am going to be who I am called to be and I am not letting anyone get in my way!
The Real Me
I will tell you I didn’t do the masks except for a few times, for example when I went to vote in 2020 because I knew it was an important vote. I don’t say this to toot my horn. It was probably one of the hardest things I have ever done. When I first started doing it I shook going into the store. God told me people need to see you not doing it. I knew what I believed and for me to do it it would have been compromising my beliefs. I will not bow, break, or bend for anyone! My allegiance is to God alone!
I was kicked out of places, judged, scorned, isolated, as well as scowled at for not playing their game. I knew who I was and chose not to be a pawn in a game that was controlled by elitists. The point of the game was to see who would comply, to determine who would fit in their society! This world does not belong to man, especially a bunch of hooligans who think they are gods and that we are to pay them homage! I do not bow to men, I bow to God! This world belongs to GOD! The Hamans of this day do not deserve my respect therefore they will not get it EVER!
I will not bow, break, or bend for anyone!
And all the king’s servants, that were in the king’s gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence.
Esther 3:2 KJV
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Proverbs 29:25 KJV
We ought to obey God rather than men.
Acts 29:5b KJV
Is not the Constitution worth upholding? Yes, it is! They tried to lay claim to what doesn’t belong to them…our rights!
You are a free person, not a slave. Be who God called you to be without apology!
For who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
Esther 4:14 KJV
We can either be known as one that took the path of least resistance or we can be known as one like Esther who counted the costs and said, “If I perish. I perish?” God is looking for those who will STAND for what is right no matter the costs!
My allegiance is to God alone.
